The food at Johnny’s diner is unbelievable. The prices make you feel like he went back in time to like the late 80s. Everyone here is really cool and cordial. I’ve never been asked if my coffee needed to be refilled so many times as the customer service is six star, but I can’t give it that. Should you find yourself in the area do yourself a service and go to Johnny’s diner you will not regret it.

Love Johnnys! I go every weekend with my family, the staff is so nice and friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and consistent! Had a waffle for the first time today as well and it was great! Once again the staff is what makes the place feel like home they check for drink refills constantly which I love. It does get busy on the weekends and sometimes there’s a wait but it’s worth it they get ppl in and out quick and your not going to find a better breakfast/lunch diner! Thanks johnnys team!

Long legacy diner. My family has been here several times. For a birthday, we decided to experience Johnny's for breakfast. This was my first time. The space was tight but the staff understood quick. Food was good. Service was good. What impressed me was that one of the owners was proudly serving. She pointed to her husband, the other owner, who was on the grill, and her daughter who was serving. This is truly a family restaurant. I will be back to support this family as they serve my community.

When we arrived to the restaurant, we checked in to see what the wait time and were told about 15 to 20 minutes, which was pretty accurate. Very efficient with getting folks seated. Servers were very attentive and refilling water coffees, and anything that you needed. Very friendly staff. After we ordered our food, this is where I would say the issues. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in the time that it took to get our food after ordering. I noticed our server had taken about orders from about five or six tables which good to not have to wait if you’re ready, but I only saw maybe one order come out during that time frame My concern was whether or not our food would be hot and fresh enough. The scrambled eggs were hot at first but got cold quickly. The bacon was warm, but the pancakes were slightly warm. I ordered the #7 , which was a very good deal and the other person in my party order the French toast combo. I got a taste of the French toast and it was excellent. It of course was also not completely hot but palatable. My comment would be if it’s going to take that long for you to get your food from the time you order they need to figure out a way to keep it warm and hot at all times throughout the entire meal I felt like I had to rush through my meal because it wasn’t as hot as it should have been.

I use to go everyday just about back in 2012. My all time favorite spots back in the day. I’m glad this place still in business. Excellent food and Excellent staff. They knew my drink Sweet Tea. Every time I come in town I always comeback. The food price is worth it. Money well spent.

I love that every time I eat here, I feel right at home! The entire staff is so kind and helpful, and attentive! They make sure you have whatever you need and keep a smile on their faces! The place is kept in a spotless condition and the decor is beautiful! The food is delicious and gives that warm, nostalgic feeling of eating at the local diner as a kid. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Great experience first time being here, can't wait to come back! I really enjoyed the service, atmosphere and food. The blueberry pancakes were cooked perfect as well as the biscuits and gravy. My girlfriend enjoyed her meal as well. if you have not tried this place and you are nearby, give it a try.

This diner is conveniently located on my way to work so it's no surprise I'm always in here for breakfast - and let me tell you - they do not disappoint. Coffee is always nice & hot, breakfast is full of flavor and eggs are cooked to perfection (literally every time), and the service and staff is extremely attentive and hospitable. You truly feel like you're part of the family when you dine here. Johnnys Dinner on University definitely has set the bar extremely high on what first-class service truly means.
